Land Buying
Croudace Portland is actively seeking land suitable for development. We will consider sites with or without planning permission as specialists from our in-house design and planning skills can overcome difficult land situations and achieve planning results.
The Company produces bespoke, high value homes, so we are looking for sites in sought after areas throughout the south east where high sales values can be achieved.
These are likely to be, but not exclusively, sites which have been developed previously. An ideal development site should be sufficiently large to accommodate 5 to 10 dwellings with sales values in excess of £750k per dwelling. However, we will consider smaller sites in the right areas.
As a privately owned company, our approach to purchasing is quick and decisive. We have funds in place and land can be purchased on either a ‘subject to planning’ or an ‘option’ basis. If you own, or know of, any potential building plots where the opportunity may exist to maximise the value of this asset for development, we would welcome the opportunity to discuss this further with you. Matthew has been with Croudace since 2004 shortly after gaining a Masters in Real Estate Management. He was previously a member of the land team for Croudace Homes and made numerous site acquisitions for them prior to moving to his new role this year. He is keen to add to his tally and purchase more development land for Croudace Portland and manage the subsequent sales of the new homes.
Matthew is a very accomplished tennis player and he also enjoys football, cycling and generally keeping fit.
